SOT Information

Our school utilizes a School Organizational Team. The Team’s members include the school principal, staff members, and parents/guardians. Teams are also encouraged to invite one or more interested community members to advise the Team. Up to six parents or legal guardians of students enrolled at Coronado will be elected to participate as members of the School Organizational Team, and should represent 50% of voting members of the Team. Any parent or legal guardian of students enrolled at the local school precinct will have an opportunity to vote in this parent election. This nomination form must be submitted by Friday, September 6th @ 4:00pm. Nominees, as well as all persons wishing to cast a vote, must be a parent or legal guardian of at least one currently enrolled Coronado High School student. Each nominee’s name and written response will be shared on the Coronado High School website as part of the election process. The election will be held in a virtual setting, through Google Forms, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Voting will require the form to be submitted, according to the directions, with voter eligibility being determined through verification of student records in Infinite Campus. Results will be posted on the Coronado High School website by Thursday, September 19, 2024. CCSD employees cannot serve as the parent/guardian members of the SOT if their child attends the school at which they work. However, those employees may serve as a licensed or support staff member of the SOT at that school. CCSD employees may also serve as a parent/guardian member of a SOT if their child attends a school different from their work location.
